Senator Britt, whose wife and sister are both educators, understands that children are our state's most valuable assets. Which is why he has supported common sense improvements in our education system, aiming to eliminate arbitrary policies put in place by Democrats that had left rural North Carolina schools behind.

After three years in the State Legislature, Senator Britt has helped give North Carolina teachers an average pay raise of over 9 percent, increased funding for K-12 education in NC, and has given principals much needed pay raises.
